    Hello fellow Mommas and Poppas.  Just wondering if anyone else is still experiencing a non-sleeping through the night child?  My little one is 10 1/2 months and still wakes up through the night.  I usually let her cry it out but around 4:30 there is no end to her screams.  At this point I go in, nurse her for a bit and then put her back in her crib, where she falls asleep until around 6.  I would really love her to sleep from 7:30-at least 6:30.  Any suggestions?!!?!?

    i hate the whole sleep thing!!  my son was sleeping fine through the night, but has recently been getting up regularly around 2am.  i’ve gone in to nurse him over the past week because he’s been congested, but now i think it’s a habit.  any suggestions how to break this too?

    I don’t really have any suggestions, just wanted to tell you you’re not alone! Our wake up time is usually between 4-5am when I nurse her and she’ll go back to sleep until 7-8am.

    Wow!  I thought it was just us!  At about 10 to 10 and a half months, my son started to want to get up and get dancing around 4-4:30.  I have found that if I set him in an upright position (like burping him over my shoulder) and rock a little, he settles down and gets back to sleep.  Not doing this just upsets him and he stays awake longer–also, trying to nurse him at this time just makes him frustrated!  Once he is back asleep, he will sleep until about 7 and then he’ll wake up happy and wanting to play and be sweet before he nurses.  Of course, he’s only 11 months now, so let’s see how long this lasts until the next sleep changes…
