I don’t really have any suggestions, just wanted to tell you you’re not alone! Our wake up time is usually between 4-5am when I nurse her and she’ll go back to sleep until 7-8am.

My LO really likes peas-I buy frozen organic ones at Trader Joes, defrost a handful at a time in the fridge and give them to her almost as a game instead of a food.  Maybe worth a try?  Also, to piggyback on the first reply, blending them into things is great. Steamed carrots and beets are easily blended into sauces (and are sweet, especially cooked!) and can be great over a protein.  Also, not sure if you want to go this route, but my LO loves pizza and I always get a veggie slice and she will happily eat the olives, spinach, broccoli and peppers if they’re attached to bread and cheese… 🙂

Oh, yes, indeed! It’s lucky for us to get three meals in and my LO is 11 months old.  She nurses a LOT. In the past two days she’s finally started to eat more quantity, but I have had to try several times a day and several different foods, which isn’t feasible every day.  She will eat larger amounts of things she likes, but things that she’s just meh about will get two or three bites.  Unfortunately, one of the things she really likes is pizza and bread and I don’t think I’m doing her any favors by letting her eat a bigger portion of that, but maybe I should let her eat it?  Ugh, in any case, I feel you.  My LO also is on the lighter side of all her same aged friends and I worry…though our ped says not to.  In any case,  you’re not alone!
